The full share farm box contains a generous weeks worth of freshly harvested vegetables plus a rotating selection of seasonal herbs, cut flowers, fruits, and wild foraged foods from the farm and forest. The whole share box size is intended to supplement meals for three to four people throughout the entire growing season from June-October.
Rough Forage Farm grows, grazes and harvests utilizing organic methodology without chemicals or pesticides. I focus on cultivating open pollinated, heirloom varieties of vegetables grown in healthy soils to produce nutrient dense crops. Therefore, this box will contain an array of delicious, beautiful, nutritious and unique items to supplement your weekly meals.
Weekly offerings of organically fed eggs, grass-fed Icelandic lamb, medicinal salves and tinctures, and other local farm goodies can be added on to this box when available!
Weekly pickup is on Friday at the farm in Robbinston. Optional pickup at the Lubec Market of in Eastport can be available by request for weeks when you can’t make it out to the farm!
